While searching for a guitar with specific features, chance, or rather luck, led me to the Panico Custom Instruments website…
…and today I’m playing an original M555!
The guitar arrived in a very well-packaged and protected case.
The finish is exemplary, the setup is precise and perfect. One tuning and I was ready to play for hours.
From my perspective, the overall ergonomics are excellent, with a special mention for the neck, which is exceptionally comfortable (I’ve played many guitars, new and used, from “brand names,” I think I can say that). The action is low and perfect across the entire neck. Its satin finish contributes greatly to this comfort.
The “Panico” pickups are among the best; their combinations cover a very wide spectrum. Their definition is excellent.
The quality of the hardware (Gotoh) is beyond question, and its assembly is also perfect.
All of this is created, shaped, adjusted, and precisely tuned by a talented luthier who loves his craft and proves it through his work.
You’ll never find that at brand-name stores or superstores…

Mentre cercavo una chitarra con caratteristiche specifiche, il caso, o meglio la fortuna, mi ha portato sul sito web di Panico Custom Instruments…
…e oggi sto suonando una M555 originale!
La chitarra è arrivata in una custodia molto ben imballata e protetta.
La finitura è impeccabile, il setup è preciso e perfetto. Un’accordatura ed ero pronto a suonare per ore.
Dal mio punto di vista, l’ergonomia generale è eccellente, con una menzione speciale per il manico, che è eccezionalmente comodo (ho suonato molte chitarre, nuove e usate, di “marche”, credo di poterlo dire). L’action è bassa e perfetta su tutto il manico. La sua finitura satinata contribuisce notevolmente a questo comfort.
I pickup “Panico” sono tra i migliori; le loro combinazioni coprono uno spettro molto ampio. La loro definizione è eccellente.
La qualità dell’hardware (Gotoh) è indiscutibile e anche l’assemblaggio è perfetto.
Tutto questo è creato, modellato, adattato e accordato con precisione da un liutaio di talento che ama il suo mestiere e lo dimostra attraverso il suo lavoro.
Non lo troverete mai nei negozi di marca o nei supermercati…
